Updating Your SPF Record for Zeniar Email

Updating Your SPF Record for Zeniar Email

Learn how to add Zeniar's mail servers to your domain's SPF record so email sent through Zeniar is delivered reliably. This guide is for domains that manage their DNS outside Zeniar, such as in Cloudflare, and send email through Zeniar.

Important: Only follow this guide if email for your domain is sent through Zeniar. This includes Zeniar mailboxes and webmail, and contact forms or notifications sent by your website. If your email is hosted with another provider, such as Microsoft 365 (Outlook) or Google Workspace (Gmail), and your website doesn't send email, you don't need to change anything.

Please note: If your domain uses Zeniar's nameservers, we manage your SPF record for you and no action is required.

Steps

  1. Log in to your DNS provider (e.g. Cloudflare) and select your domain
  2. Open your DNS records. In Cloudflare, select DNS from the left-hand menu, then click Records
  3. Find the TXT record that starts with v=spf1 and click Edit
  4. Add ip4:115.64.200.17 ip4:115.64.200.19 just before the final ~all or -all, keeping everything else in the record
  5. Click Save

Note: If your domain only sends email through Zeniar, the finished record will look like this: v=spf1 +a +mx ip4:203.59.98.250 ip4:115.64.200.17 ip4:115.64.200.19 ~all

Please note: A domain should only have one SPF record. If you can't find a TXT record starting with v=spf1, create a new TXT record for your domain (@) using the example above.

Please note: Leave your MX and mail records as they are. We'll contact you before any changes are needed.

Your SPF record now includes Zeniar's mail servers.
