Updating Your DNS Records in Cloudflare

Updating Your DNS Records in Cloudflare

Learn how to update your DNS records in Cloudflare so your domain points to your Zeniar hosting service. If your domain uses Cloudflare, you keep Cloudflare's nameservers and only update the records that point your website to our server.

Steps

  1. Log in to your Cloudflare account at https://dash.cloudflare.com and select your domain
  2. Select DNS from the left-hand menu, then click Records
  3. Find the A record for your domain (shown as your domain name or @) and click Edit
  4. Change the IPv4 address to 115.64.200.17
  5. Leave the Proxy status as it is and click Save
  6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for any other A records that point to Zeniar, such as www

Important: We're moving our hosting platform to a new network in October 2026. Please update your A records by 13 October 2026. You can make the change at any time before then, and your website will keep working before and after you update. Records still pointing to the old address will stop working after the move.

Please note: These steps only change where your website points. Don't change your MX, TXT or other email records as part of this guide.

Records set to Proxied update almost immediately. Your domain is now pointing to your Zeniar hosting service through Cloudflare.

What About Email?

  • If your email is hosted with another provider, such as Microsoft 365 (Outlook) or Google Workspace (Gmail), no email changes are needed
  • If email for your domain is sent through Zeniar, see Updating Your SPF Record for Zeniar Email

Other DNS Providers

If your DNS is managed by another provider, such as QUIC.cloud or your domain registrar, make the same changes there using the values above.

If you'd prefer Zeniar to manage your DNS for you, see Pointing Your Domain to Zeniar's Nameservers.
