Pointing Your Domain to Zeniar's Nameservers
Learn how to update your domain's nameservers to Zeniar's so your website and email can go live. This guide walks you through the steps to update your nameserver settings with your domain registrar.
Please note: If you purchased your domain through Zeniar and don't use Cloudflare, your nameservers are managed for you and no action is required.
Steps
- Log in to your domain registrar's account (e.g. GoDaddy, Crazy Domains, VentraIP, etc.)
- Locate the domain you'd like to point to Zeniar's servers
- Find the DNS settings and navigate to the Nameservers section. This may also be called DNS or Delegation
- Remove any existing nameservers and enter the following values:
- ns1.zenhost.au
- ns2.zenhost.au
- Save your changes
Note: You don't need to enter an IP address for the nameservers.
Please note: It can take up to 48 hours for nameserver changes to fully propagate across the internet after updating them with your domain registrar. Your website and email will keep working during this time.
Important: We're moving our hosting platform to a new network in October 2026. If your domain uses older Zeniar nameservers, including nameservers named after your own domain (e.g. ns1.yourdomain.com.au), please update them to the values above by 13 October 2026. The older nameservers will stop working after the move.
Once the change has taken effect, your domain will be pointing to Zeniar's nameservers.
