Using LiteSpeed Cache with Joomla, Drupal and Other Apps
Learn how to use LiteSpeed Cache with apps other than WordPress. LiteSpeed publishes free cache plugins for many popular website apps. Each one tells the server which pages are safe to save and clears them when your content changes.
Apps with an Official Plugin
- Joomla
- Drupal
- PrestaShop
- OpenCart
- Magento
- Craft CMS
- XenForo
- MediaWiki
Steps
- Download the plugin for your app from https://www.litespeedtech.com/products/cache-plugins
- Log in to your app's admin area
- Install the plugin using the app's own extension or module installer
- Open the plugin's settings and switch the cache on
- Open your website in a private or incognito window and check that it looks and works as before
- Check that the pages are being cached. See Checking Whether LiteSpeed Cache Is Working
Important: Use only one page cache. If your app already has a caching extension switched on, switch it off before enabling LiteSpeed Cache.
Please note: Each plugin has its own settings. LiteSpeed's guide for each one is at https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/
