Introduction:

We take the security of your email accounts very seriously. To protect our customers from spam and other malicious emails, we have implemented several layers of spam protection. These security measures ensure that only legitimate and safe emails reach your inbox. However, sometimes these measures can prevent certain emails from being delivered if they don’t meet our security criteria.

Key Factors That Could Prevent Email Delivery

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) is an email validation system designed to protect your domain from email spoofing. At Zeniar, we require that all incoming emails have a valid DMARC configuration. If an email does not meet this requirement, it may be blocked from reaching your inbox.

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is another email authentication method that helps prevent spammers from sending emails on behalf of your domain. Zeniar checks the SPF record of every incoming email. If the email fails the SPF check, it will not be delivered.

Zeniar uses the Spamhaus DNS Blacklist (zen.spamhaus.org) to filter out emails from known sources of spam. If an email you are expecting is being sent from a domain that appears on this blacklist, it will be blocked by our system.

What to Do If You’re Not Receiving an Email

1. Go to the Spamhaus Check Website: Visit Spamhaus Check

2. In the search box, type in the domain name (e.g., the part after the "@" in the email address) of the sender whose email you’re not receiving.

3. If the domain is listed, it means the email might be blocked due to spam protection.

4. Let the sender know that their email might be blocked because their domain is listed as a potential spam source. Ask them to contact their email provider to resolve the issue.

By following these steps, you can quickly determine if a sender's domain is being blocked by our spam protection. If so, the sender will need to address the issue with their email provider to ensure their emails can reach your inbox.
